Kalakand(Milk Cake) easy to make and delicious Indian sweet. All you need for this recipe is full fat milk and sugar. Milk is slowly cuddled using little vinegar and boiled to a point that it reduces and solidifies. It is seasoned with cardamom and garnished with some chopped Almonds/Pistachios.
1000ml full fat milk
1 tbsp. finely chopped Almonds
1 tbsp. Finely chopped Pistachios
pinch of cardamom powder
-In a heavy bottom pan heat milk bring it to a boil add vinegar slowly and stir continuously.
-You have to stir continuously until the mix solidifies and form a grain like texture.
-It take about 45-50 mins then add sugar, cardamom. mix well transfer the milk mixture onto a grease plate/pan.
-Spread the milk mixture evenly and add nuts gently press them into the mixture.
-Allow the mixture to set at room temperature and move into refrigerator.
-Before serving cut into square piece and serve.
