Vada Pav

Vada pav Indian street food prepared using deep fried potato (Batata Vada)mixture placed in between lightly toasted pav(bread) and served with green and tamarind chutney.

Makes 8-10
Prep time:15 mins
Cook time:30 mins

Ingredients for green chutney
1 cup cilantro
1/2 cup mint leaves
1 small piece of ginger
2-3 tbsp. peanuts or cashews or sunflower seeds
3-4 green chilies
1 whole lime juice freshly squeezed
salt to taste
few drops of water

-In a blender add the ingredients and blend into a smooth paste. Transfer into a bowl and set aside.

Procedure:
-Head a griddle and apply some butter or ghee to the bread(buns) lightly toast on both sides.
-Apply some green chutney on one side and tamarind chutney on the other.
-Place the Bata vada in between and enjoy.
