Tandoori Aloo(Potato)

 

Potato is staple in our pantry.Tandori baby potato is a wonderful party starter snack and easy to make for anytime of the day.They are made by boiled/steamed baby potaoes and marinating in yogurt along with the tandori masala.

Prep time:40mins
cook time:15mins

Ingredients:
250gm baby potato (wash and steam/boil al dente and set aside)
1/4cup plain low fat greek yogurt or plain yogurt
2tbsp Tandoori masala
1tbsp chickpea flour
1tsp oil
salt to taste

For garnish
some lemon wedges
finely sliced onions
finely chopped cilantro

Procedure:
1)In large bowlprepare the marinade with all the ingredients,mix well  and allow it rest for 30 to 40 mins.
2)Heat a griddle pan on a medium flame place the aloo marinade and cook until they turn golden brown turn them occasionally to cook evenly and avoid getting burn.
3)Serve hot with ketchup or green chutney.

Notes:
-You can also bake them in oven for 200C for 15 mins or until done.
-If baby potato unavailable you can cube regular potato and follow the same procedure.
