Mango Lassi(Yogurt) Healthy Smoothie

Mango Lassi(Yogurt) is a Indian smoothie drink usually made with yogurt,milk and mango pulp or fresh mango.It is served in every Indian restaurant.I am modifying this recipe by adding Greek yogurt and making it a healthy protein drink.

serves 2-3


Ingredients:

1/4 cup Kesar(Saffron) mango pulp(it will be available in any superstore or Indian store)

1/2 cup low fat Greek yogurt

1/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

1/4 tsp cardamom powder(optional)

2 ice cubes

1 tbsp honey(optional) or as required.Skip it if you don’t need any additional sweetness.

garnish with pomegranate seeds or sliced almonds(Optional)


Procedure:

  • Blend all the ingredients together and garnish with pomegranate seeds or sliced almonds or enjoy as is.

Notes:

-Use fresh mango pulp during summer when available

-Store bought mango pulp is usually sweetened.
