A quick and easy curry with mild and delicious flavors.It goes well with Rice,Roti and Quinoa.
1 1/2 cups Shredded cabbage(wash and set aside)
3 slit Green chilies
curry leaves (optional)
1/2 cup frozen peas(thaw)
2 tbsp shredded ginger
1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
1/2 tsp Urad dal
1/2 tsp Cumin seeds
1 Red chilli
1/2 tsp oil
pinch of turmeric
salt to taste
- Heat oil in pan and add mustard seeds allow them to splutter then add rest of the seasoning wait until they turn slightly brown.
- Then add slit green chilies,shredded ginger,curry leaves,turmeric,cabbage,salt,peas and mix well.
- Cover the pan and cook on medium heat for 10 more minutes until the cabbage is tender.Stir occasionally.Turn off the heat once done.
- Serve hot with Roti,Quinoa or rice
